Note!
The measured variables for the software option “concentration measurement” are only available if
the appropriate additional software is installed in the device. If the measured variable is selected
even if the additional software is not installed, the value “0” is transmitted to the automation device
(PROFIBUS master) for the measured variable.
Example:
You want to cyclically transmit the totalised volume flow as totalizer value 1 to the automation
device by means of the TOTAL module.
Configuration via the local display:
BASIC FUNCTION → PROFIBUS DP → TOTALIZER → SELECT TOTALIZER: Select
TOTALIZER 1, then select CHANNEL = VOLUME FLOW
Configuration via the operating program:
Open totalizer function block 1 and enter the ID for volume flow in the “CHANNEL” parameter →

SETTOT, MODETOT modules - cyclic configuration of totalizers 1...3
The totalizers 1...3 can be configured and controlled by means of the automation system (class 1
master) using the SETTOT and MODETOT modules.

Example for SETTOT and MODETOT:
If the SETTOT parameter is set to 1 (= reset the totalizer), the value for the aggregated totals of the
totalizer is reset to 0. If the aggregated totals of the totalizer should constantly retain the value 0,
the MODETOT parameter must first be set to 3 (= totalising is stopped) and then the SETTOT
parameter must be set to 1 (= reset the totalizer).
