COVER SIDE R
As the FUSER UNIT remains at hazardous temperature after turning the power off, be
careful not to burn yourself.
1. Release the lock on the right side of the FUSER UNIT.
2. Remove the three screws (silver, self-tapping, 10 mm) that secure the COVER SIDE R to the main unit.
3. Pull the COVER SIDE R so that it comes free from the two protrusions of the main unit.
4. Release the two tabs on the back side and the two tabs on the front side of the COVER SIDE R, and
remove the COVER SIDE R from the main unit.

PWBA EEPROM XPRO (XPRO)
1. Disconnect the connector (P/J274) of the PWBA EEPROM XPRO.
2. Remove the screw (silver, self-tapping, 10 mm) that secures the PWBA EEPROM XPRO.
3. Remove the PWBA EEPROM XPRO from the main unit.
 When the printer is turned on for the first time after the PWBA EEPROM XPRO is
replaced, the information unique to each printer is automatically saved into a memory
on the new board. Due to this reason, the board becomes unique to specific printer, and
the board can no longer be used in other printer. Do not reuse the board once used in
another printer unit.
 Do not replace both PWBA EEPROM XPRO and PWBA MCU at a time.
