Further check the transparency of the silicon
tube. If a contamination is visible (see picture), it
must be rinsed according to the yearly
maintenance step 'Rinse the Vacuum Passage'
(see page Fehler! Es wurde kein
Textmarkenname vergeben.).
The flexprint has razor sharp edges. If it touches
anything during movement of the ZT element, it
scrapes off substance. Move the ZT element up
and down to control the free movement of the
flexprint. If it is bent out of position, touching
the motor or the cables, reposition it by slightly
bending back with the palm of the hand during
downward movement, starting above the shrink
tubing (1). Repeat this procedure multiple as
long as the flexprint is in the correct position.
For each ZT element there are 4 grubscrews to
check for tigthness (see picture). Re-tighten
them if necessary (Allen key 1.27 mm / 0.05 in).
Check all ZT elements (if more than one).
