There are four menu items used for setting the volume of the audio that is
generated on the AES
outputs. Each AES output is controlled separately
and has two menu items, one for the left channel (channel 1) and another
for the right channel (channel 2).
The audio level can be set from 0 dBFS to –28 dBFS with the lowest setting
being mute which is a digital mute (all zeros). The volume is controlled in
steps of 2 dBFS (decibels Full Scale).
4.4.8. Enabling the Setup Pedestal for all Sync and Analog Test Generator Outputs
The Global pedestal menu item in the OUTPUT root menu is used to control
whether a 7.5 IRE setup pedestal is added to the active video lines of all
NTSC-M outputs. This control has no effect on PAL-
B outputs. It affects the
sync and analog test generator outputs.
