2.8 Identification media
An identification media is a non-contact RFID chip based MIFARE DESFire EV1 with an overall
memory capacity of 4 kB.

Do not place more than one identification medium on the Xesar cod-
ing station. Otherwise the identification media may be incorrectly
configured.
Please keep metal objects away from the coding station as they may
impair reader functionality.
Once your system is no longer in construction mode following commissioning, you can use identi-
fication media programmed with the Xesar coding station to open Xesar access components.
Construction mode is active as long as the Xesar access component has not
been assigned to a system. Every Xesar access component has this status
upon delivery.
