while the probe was lift-

Place the probe on the
specimen and then
press ENTER to trig-
ger the measurement
acquisition.

Cause: Measurement on
calibration standard car-
ried out incorrectly.
Repeat the calibration
step and perform the
calibration measure-
ment correctly (e.g., do
not allow the probe to
hover over the standard

surement; observe the
minimum lift-off dis-
tance!)
