Applications
5.5 Assigning Application Designations
A customer-specific designation that can be comprised of a max. of 16 AS-
CII characters can be assigned to every Application.
Assigning the Application designation can be carried out in the following
manner:
Use of the optional software Fischer DataCenter (scope of supply)
Transmitting the command “SAN” via the interface port
( 9.5.2 ‘Control Commands’, beginning on Page 136)
When making measurements in the matrix measuring mode, each block
can be assigned a designation as well ( Page 116).
5.6 Application Specific Settings
The following settings apply only to the settings of the open Application,
i.e., they are Application-specific:
Settings that are entered after pressing the MENU key.
Measurement variable (measurement value in Fe% or FN or as count
rate) ( Page 53)
Unit ( Page 179)
Displaying the -Martensit content ( Page 52)
After pressing the MENU key, the following application-specific settings can
be made:
2008-07-23 End of block - Date of the last block closure of this Ap-
plication (if no date is shown, the Application does not
contain a closed block!).
n= Number of measurements stored in this Application
Once Application or block designations have been assigned, the des-
ignations appear in the information lines of the display, where appli-
cable, alternating with the respective numbers. On printouts, the
Application or block designation will appear in place of the Applica-
tion or block number.
