Local PTT: Local PTT is assigned to a single Station. Since there can be multiple TX slices, the radio
must know where to transmit whenever a physical input to the radio (RCA/ACC PTT, CW Key, Mic
PTT) is pressed. The Local PTT is how the radio decides where to transmit whenever any of these
physical inputs are pressed. For example.
Station 1 is on 20m. Station 2 is on 40m. A footswitch is plugged into the RCA PTT of the radio.
Station 1 is the Local PTT Station. If the footswitch (hardware PTT) is pressed the radio will transmit
on 20M
If Station 2 presses the MOX button (non-hardware PTT), then the radio will transmit on 40M
To set the Local PTT, use the multiFLEX Dashboard (see section 33.15, multiFlex Tab).
