4.3 New Password
The password may be changed from the default of 100 to a customer-selected value. In the “CHANGE SETTINGS?”
mode, select “NO” until “CHANGE PASSWORD” is displayed on the LCD. Proceed with changing the password as
indicated in Figure 4.5.
The new password becomes effective as soon as the operator answers “YES” to the “RECORD PASSWORD?” display.
NOTE: Take care to record the new password in a secure location to ensure its retrieval in the future, yet prevent
unauthorized access to the actuator “SETUP” routine.
If password protection is not required, the password may be set to “000.” The user will not be prompted to enter a
password when the password is set to “000.”
