3 INTRODUCTION
3.1 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The flowrate indicator / totalizer model E018-P (also referred to as a unit) is an explosion proof
microprocessor-driven instrument designed to linearize the flowmeter’s flow curve and to show the
current flowrate, the totalized flow and the accumulated totalized flow.

This manual describes the daily use, configuration and installation of the standard unit (with pulse
input from a flowmeter) and its available options. The following figure shows the E018-P used in a
typical application.
