Boards in PCI slots
Before installing or removing a board, please read the documentation supplied
with the board.
Installing/removing a board
Requirements
– server has been switched off
– power cords have been disconnected
– left side cover has been removed
Installing a board
Ê Press in direction of the arrow (1) on the clamp fix and remove it (2).
Ê Take out the rear slot cover plate of the slot (3).
Do not dispose of the rear slot cover plate. For cooling, protection against
fire and in order to comply with EMC regulations, you must refit the rear
slot cover plate if you remove the board and no new board will be
installed.
