Boards in PCI slots Removal/installation routines
Ê Insert the board in the required slot on the system board and push it carefully
into place (1). Make sure that the rear slot cover plate of the board is
positioned in the groove (a).
Ê Insert the clamp fix for fastening the board as shown (2). Make sure that the
clamp fix engages in the housing.
Ê If necessary, plug the lines on the new board.
Removing a board
Even with the system switched off, certain parts of the device (e.g.
memory modules and PCI expansion boards) may still be energised.
These components may only be replaced when the device is completely
disconnected to the line voltage.
Ê Remove the lines which may be connected to the board.
