LAN connector
The system board has an Intel 82547EM Gigabit LAN controller. The LAN
controller supports transmission rates of 10 Mbit/s, 100 Mbit/s and 1 Gbit/s. The
LAN controller is equipped with a transmission and receiving buffer (FIFO) and
supports WOL function through Magic Packet
TM
.
It is also possible to boot a device without its own boot hard disk via LAN. Here
Intel PXE is supported.
The LAN RJ45 connector is equipped with a yellow and a green LED (light
emitting diode). This LEDs are integrated into the LAN connector socket.
