Function Block Parameters
4 5004 ALERT_KEY 1 Universal parameter used as a key to identify
the point from which an alert is issued;
normally used by an upper level system to
select alerts to provide to a particular operator
who covers a specific area of the plant.
5 5005 MODE_BLK O/S Universal parameter that indicates the block
operation conditions and is composed of actual
mode, target mode, permitted modes, and
normal mode.
6 5006 BLOCK_ERR — — Indicates the error statuses related to the block
itself.
7 5007 PV — — Indicates the primary analog value (or the
corresponding process value) used to execute
the specified actions, and the status of that
value.
8 5008 SP 0 Auto Indicates the setpoint for the block.
9 5009 OUT 0 Man Indicates the output value and its status.
10 5010 SIMULATE disable Used to simulate the output from the
transducer block; allows the user to set the
value and status input from the specified
channel.
11 5011 PV_SCALE 0-100% O/S High and low scale values when displaying the
PV parameter and the parameters which have
the same scaling as PV.
12 5012 XD_SCALE 0-100% O/S High and low scale values used with the value
obtained from or sent to the transducer block
for a specified channel.
