ECG Checks
Introduction
The ECG capability on this LOGIQ E10 is intended as a trigger for measurements, but can also be
viewed on the screen.
Parts needed
- ECG Harness, for P/Ns, see: Section, Options.
- ECG Pads, (3 pc)
or
- ECG simulator
Preparations

ECG Checks
3D/4D and Volume Navigation Functional Checks
For complete information, refer to the appropriate version of the LOGIQ E10 Basic User Manual,
Chapters 5 and 6, or the appropriate LOGIQ E10 Release Notes. See: Section 1-5 "Label locations" on
page 1-26.
Shear Wave Elastography (Shear Elasto) Functional Checks
If the Capacitor Pack is not present or the Power Supply to Capacitor Pack Cable is not connected, or
connected properly, the option to select the “Shear Elasto” soft button after pressing the Elasto button,
the Touch Panel key “Shear Elasto/strain Elasto” button WILL NOT be present.
Select a probe - L2-9-D, C1-6-D or ML4-16-D.
Select ELASTO button.
In the Touch Panel, select Shear Wave button if not already selected.
Verify that the Shear Wave button is available.

Step Task Expected Result(s)
1.
Select Preset, Select Cardiac, Select Scan.
2.
If you do not see the ECG line, select the
ECG tab, you should see selection on touch
screen for DISPLAY ECG. Select and press.
You should then see the line.
3.
Plug in the ECG cables with nothing
attached so you pick up noise.
The line should display noise.
4.
Connect the ECG harness to the connector
on the front of the Ultrasound system.
The LOGIQ E10 displays a straight curve along
the bottom edge of the image sector on the
screen.
5.
Connect the three leads to a ECG simulator,
or fasten the three ECG Pads to your body
and connect the three leads to respective
ECG Pad.
When connecting, the signal on the screen will be
noisy. When the connection is completed, a
typical clean ECG signal is displayed.
