2.4 Safety instructions for operation
Only operate the machine, under consideration of the Operating
Manual, when it is fully serviceable and in a safety and hazard
conscious manner.
If work is interrupted, disconnect the mains plug and secure against
connecting.
Fundamentally, the machine must be secured against unauthorised
use (disconnect from power)!
In situations that present a risk to operating personnel or the
machine, shut down the machine by pressing the EMERGENCY STOP
button.
Shut down and lower the machine when wind speeds are >72 km/h.
(Wind force 7-8, wind breaks branches off trees, makes walking very
difficult!)
No persons must stand under suspended loads. Ensure that the danger
zone is suitably cordoned off at the construction site and identified.
2.4.1 Transport of suspended loads above the machine
The operating company must use appropriate organisational measures
to ensure that no suspended loads are transported above the machine.
2.4.2 Machines/systems requiring registration
The operating company must register machines/systems which require
registration with the responsible national authorities in accordance with
the contents and deadlines of the regulations/obligations.
