5.7.2 Fastening on the rope winch
Drive rope
¾ Insert the drive rope (1) in an
untwisted state as far as possible into
the rope winch from above.
¾ Press the UP button on the control.
If necessary, feed in the drive rope a little
by hand until it is drawn in automatically.
¾ Allow the drive rope to run through the
winch until it is taut.
Repeat the procedure on other rope winches.
The drive rope must be lubricated!
Damage to the rope winch.
Untwist wire ropes and check them for damage before introducing them.
There must be no discernible protruding strands, kinks or deformations on
the wire rope.
(Criteria according to DIN ISO 4309)
In the event of any noticeable noises or uneven retraction: Immediately
extend the wire rope and check the end of the rope or rope winch.
