Setting the Registration Mark Detection Judgment Level
This function sets the color density judgment level of the line segments that are read during a registration
mark detection operation. This level determines the existence of a line segment by a change in density of the
speciedpercentagefromanareawheretherearenolinesegments(whitearea).
(1) Load a medium in the plotter.
(2) Press the
[PAUSE] key to select PAUSE mode.
(3) Press the
[NEXT] key repeatedly until the following menu is displayed.

(4) Press the [F1] key (MARK) to display the registration mark functions selection menu.

(7) Press the [F1] key (LEVEL) to display the menu shown below.

To set the level for registration mark patterns 1 and 2, press the [F2] key (1,2).
To set the level for registration mark pattern 3, press the
[F3] key (TYPE 3).
To set the level for registration mark pattern Mirror 1 or Mirror 2, press the
[F4] key (MIRROR).
(8) If the
[F2] key (1,2) was pressed, the menu for setting the sensor level is displayed.

Use the [F2] or [F4] key to move the blinking cursor to X or Y, and the [ ] or [ ] key to change the numeric value.
When the displayed settings are satisfactory, press the

Setting range: 1 to 99% [Default value: Registration mark pattern 1, 2 and MIRROR: X = 70, Y = 70;
Registration mark pattern 3: X = 85, Y = 85]
Select a numeric value that is appropriate for the difference between blank areas of the medium (areas where there
is no drawing) and the density of the registration marks. Setting a higher value enables higher sensitivity (faint
