Chapter 4 REGISTRATION MARK SETTINGS AND DETECTION
4.9 Setting the Registration Mark Detection Speed
This function sets the speed of the pen carriage at the time when registration mark lines are detected.
Change the speed setting if registration marks cannot be detected due to the type of media used or the
thickness of the registration mark lines.
(1) Press the [PAUSE] key to select PAUSE mode.
(2) Press the
[NEXT] key repeatedly until the following menu is displayed.

(3) Press the [F1] key (MARK) to display the registration mark functions selection menu.

(4) Press the [F4] key (OTHER SETUPS) to display the menu shown below.

(6) Press the [F2] key (SENS SPD) to display the menu shown below.

SPEED = 5 cm/s
Use the[ ] or [ ] key to change the numeric value, and then press the [ENTER] keytoconrmyourselection.
Setting range: 1 to 30 (cm/s) [Default value: 5]
Setting a slower speed (a smaller value) enables registration marks to be detected more easily.
(7) Press the
[PAUSE] key to cancel PAUSE mode.
