7.3.9 Y Belt
How to detach the Y Belt
(1) Detach the Y bar cover (Refer to the section 7.1.13.).
(2) Detach the front Y bar end cover (Refer to the section 7.1.15.).
(3) Detach the rear Y bar end cover (Refer to the section 7.1.16.).
(4) Detach the pen block (Refer to the section 7.3.2.).
(5) Mark the position of Y belt tension screws before loosing the screws of the Y belt tension as shown in
the picture below.
Mark the position of Y belt tension adjustment screw.
(6) Loosen the two M3L20 binding head screws adjusting the Y belt tension.

(7) Remove the four M3L4 binding head screws holding the Y belt stopper plates with the Y bel.

(8) Detach the Y belt from the Y slider.
