8.6 Clearing the NV-RAM
This function will set all adjustment value to the default settings of each model.
Perform this function after the main board was replaced.
How to perform the NV-RAM Clear
(1) Turn off the power for the FCX4000 if the power was turned on.
(2) Set the dip switch to each model settings as shown in the following table.

(3) Turn on the power for the FCX4000.
(4) The SET DEFAULT menu appears. The plotter immediately starts to clear the parameters on the Nov-
Volatile RAM, and then sets the default values.
Do not turn off the power when the above menu is displaying.
It will take about one minute to set the default settings.
(5) Whenthedefaultsettingwasnished,theSETDEFAULTCOMPLETEmessageappearsontheLCD
panel.
(6) Turn off the power for the FCX4000 after menu above was displayed.
(7) Set the dip switch to each model settings as shown in the following table to set the normal mode.
