5. Install:
·oil filler plug and Final gear oil drain bolt
3.2.9 Checking the Differential Gear Oil
1. Place the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Remove:
Remove the differential gear oil filler bolt and
check the oil level. It should be up to the brim
of the filler hole. If the level is low, add
sufficient oil of the recommended type to raise
it to the specified level
·Differential gear oil drain bolt ①
3. Check:
·oil level
Oil level should be up to the brim of hole.
Oil level low Add oil to proper level.
WARNING
Take care not allow foreign material to enter the differential gear case.
4. Install:
·oil filler plug
23 Nm (2.3 m · kg, 17 ft · lb)
20 Nm (2.0 m·kgf, 14 ft·lbs )
