6 Operation
6.1 General
Only operate the product after observing the installation instructions.
For information on operating the product, refer to the appropriate chapter of
the documentation for the complete system.
6.2 Personnel qualifications
Only appropriately trained and authorized technicians are allowed to work on
the product.
6.3 Operating mode
The emptying time mode is accepted as the standard at Güdel. Reference is
made to this operating mode in the lubrication recommendation and in the
lubricant quantity calculator. The details on other operating modes are to be
considered as supplementary information.
The product has three operating modes:
Draining time mode Et
Draining time mode Et allows you to set the stroke rate “c” and the draining
time of the oil bellow in months. Draining times between 1…36 months and
stroke rates “c” between 1…30 can be set.
Hour mode -h-
Hour mode -h- allows you to set the stroke rate “c” and a pause time “h” be-
tween two dispensing processes. Pause times “h” between 1…240 hours and
stroke rates “c” between 1…30 can be set.
Pulse mode PUL
The product can be connected to an external control unit. Pulse mode PUL
enables the external control unit to check and control the product.
