Blood Pump Speed Test (CW)
The blood pump rotates clockwise at 100 RPM.
1. Ensure that the displayed pump speed is 100 ml/min +/- 2 ml/min.
2. Use a contact type digital tachometer, Shimpo Model DT105 (or
equivalent) with the tip in contact with the pump rotor mounting screw to
measure the pump speed in RPM.
3. Measure the speed of the BLOOD pump and verify the reading is 100 +/-
2 rpm.
