2.4. OPERATION
The SOUND2 equipment is a listening system for mills. It is an electro-acoustic device based on monitoring
the filling level of ball mills. It can be likened to an electronic ear that picks up the sounds of the mill.
This noise varies with the product and the mill filling level.
It is a mill filling level indicator with a digital detection system that can accurately identify sound levels: soft,
muffled sounds when full or loud, high-pitched sounds when empty.
