1. Take the new microphone assembly out of the packaging.
2. Insert the new microphone into the mounting bracket.
3. Ensure that the plastic cap is correctly positioned.
4. Plug the connector on the microphone cable into the microphone.
5. Start up the SOUND2 (see section
6.4.1 page 38).
6. Start up the mill.
7. Look at the SOUND2 screen to check that the noise is being received correctly.
8.5.3. Changing the microphone mounting bracket
Equipment/consumables
− Microphone mounting bracket
Prerequisites/Preliminary operations
− Stop the mill.
− Switch off the SOUND2.
Removal
1. Remove the microphone (2) from the mounting bracket (1).
2. Unscrew the 2 fasteners (3) that secure the base of the mounting bracket to the rigid support.
3. Remove the microphone mounting bracket (1).

Installation
1. Take the new microphone mounting bracket out of its packaging.
2. Place the base of the mounting bracket on the rigid support.
3. Secure the base using the 2 fasteners.
4. Place the microphone into position in the mounting bracket, and make sure that the plastic cap is firmly
in place.
5. Start up the SOUND2 (see section
6.4.1 page 38).
6. Start up the mill.
7. Look at the SOUND2 screen to check that the noise is being received correctly.
