8.6.9.4. “Software versions” submenu
In addition to the functions listed in section 6.5.2.3 page 40, the “Clear EEPROM memory” function is available
in the Maintenance profile.
This function deletes the digital audio processor software.
8.6.9.5. “Communication” submenu
To go to the submenu,
1. Select the “Communication” menu and press Enter. The following screen is displayed:

Selects the desired protocol from the list provided:
− Modbus TCP
− Modbus RTU
− Profibus
− None
− Or go to the configuration of the protocol already selected.
Provides the following 3 items of information:
− Status: Stop – In use - Unknown
− Heart Bit: Internal clock counter that increases every second to be read by
the host.
− Host Heart Bit: Reciprocal counter generated by the host to control
communication “life”.
8.6.10. “Diagnostics” menu
This section covers several diagnostic operations for the SOUND 2.
All the status functions are shown below to be read.
Gives the status of the different measurement cycles.
Submenu giving direct access to existing variables that are not included in
the menu but are useful for remote maintenance.
8.6.10.1. State Machine
Gives the status of the machine in terms of calibration (Stop, Waiting for
calibration, Waiting for measurement, DSP Sound config, DSP Sound that
must be reset, DSP Reset sound)
Gives the state of the machine in terms of DSP.
