8. MAINTENANCE
This chapter contains all the instructions needed to carry out preventive maintenance operations throughout
the service life of the system.
− This work must be carried out in accordance with the recommendations in this instruction manual. If some
of the work is of a highly complex nature, HASLER Group reserves the right to require that it be carried
out by its own personnel or by subcontractor(s) appointed by it. Where appropriate, this will be indicated
in the text of this instruction manual.
− In general, any work carried out by a third party that deviates from the recommendations of HASLER
Group in terms of quality or quantity will result in the mechanical warranties being rendered null and void,
even during the contractual period, and in the Declarations of Conformity (or incorporation) being
rendered null and void, if these have been drawn up. The customer would then be responsible for
maintaining conformity.
− The same applies in the event that spare parts not supplied by HASLER Group are used for items for which
HASLER Group is the exclusive distributor and therefore, owns the industrial property rights.
The above terms also apply to programmable logic controllers, software, and logic devices of which HASLER
Group remains the intellectual owner.
If maintenance operations involve dismantling the pipes (chutes, hoppers, etc.), they must be reassembled
before any no-load test and before the equipment is put back into service.
The work of the various specialists must be coordinated to safeguard the health and safety of workers.
When HASLER Group personnel are required to work in the factory, the customer must provide them with a
copy of the instruction manuals sent to them with the Technical Documentation. The same applies to the
specific tools supplied with the equipment. These provisions also apply to any work carried out by third
parties.
