4. Fill the mill with material.
The 2
nd
calibration point is carried out full, in order to measure the sound when the mill is full. As it
fills up, you should only see the Filling Level increase.
Wait and make sure that the mill has stabilised at its level before carrying out calibration point 2.
5. Check the values for the 2
nd
calibration point in the “Calibration” menu.
6. Press “Start” to set the 2
nd
calibration point. The controller goes back to the main screen and the text
“Calibration in progress” flashes at the top of the display.
Once full, “Power Max” must be other than 0. It must vary moderately around a fixed value, which is
different from the value when the mill is empty.
7. Wait for a few seconds. When calibration is complete, the text “Ready” is displayed and the Filling (or
Noise) level is indicated on the screen.
5.8. SAVING THE CONFIGURATION
Saving is only valid for SOUND2 Premium.
Once your SOUND2 has been correctly configured and checked, save the configuration in case you need to
replace the unit at a later date. To do this, carry out the following procedure:
1. Take a blank SD card.
The SD card must have been formatted in “FAT” format.
2. Unscrew the 2 screws that hold the bottom cover in place.
3. Remove the 2 screws and the bottom cover.
4. Insert the SD card into the slot.
5. Press the “Menu” key , then select the “System” menu and press “Enter”.
6. Select the “Parameters” menu and press Enter.
7. Select “Export config to card” and press “Enter”.
