5.2. INSTALLING THE EQUIPMENT
Check that there is no power present in the electrical cabinet before installing the unit.
Ensure that the work area is accessible, clean and that the other equipment in the vicinity is
switched off.
The maximum length of the microphone cable recommended by HASLER Group is 200 m.
Position the unit and microphone with this consideration in mind.
5.2.1. Installing the unit
The SOUND2 electronic units can be installed:
− In an electrical cabinet,
− Near the mill (Remove the DIN rail mounting clip).
Installation in an electrical cabinet
1. Open the cabinet.
2. Fit the unit in a place where it can be installed comfortably considering its dimensions.
3. Install it in the cabinet using the DIN rails.
Installation near the mill
1. Remove the DIN rail mounting clip.
2. Place the unit on the chosen panel/beam. Mark the locations of the drill holes on the panel/beam.
3. Remove the unit and drill the holes.
4. Place the unit on the panel/beam and secure it.
