3. Solder PIN 1 or 3 to the first wire and PIN 2 to the second wire.

4. Fit the small part on the cable while clamping the shield wire onto the cable.
5. Fit the end of the small part onto the connector.

6. Insert the pins into the connector body.
7. Tighten the screw on the connector.

8. Connect the final assembly to the microphone.

Check the impedance of the microphone (< 50 Ohms using a multimeter and around 300 Ohms
using an audio analyser).
