3. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
3.1. GENERAL INFORMATION
Do not use the system for any purpose other than that for which it was designed. Utilisation for any purpose
whatsoever other than the intended purpose is illegal and considered non-compliant.
The main warnings concerning the potential hazards associated with this equipment are as follows:
Electrical hazard: Warnings and reminders about electrical hazards and power cuts are very
important. They must be read carefully and fully understood before any work is carried out.
This instruction manual must always be available at the machine’s place of work.
3.2. EUROPEAN DIRECTIVES
With regard to safety, HASLER Group applies by default the requirements of the relevant European Union
directives, in particular the 2006/42/EC “machinery directive”. Our powers and responsibilities are by
definition restricted to the limits of our supply, as defined in the contract for the sale of the equipment.
Therefore, the customer remains responsible for applying all the safety requirements that we are unable to
ensure due to this supply limit.
When residual risks are identified on its supply, HASLER Group gives recommendations and warnings in this
instruction manual. In the rest of this chapter, we also give some basic instructions.
We also remind you that a customer established on the territory of the European Union and represented by
its head of establishment is subject to Directive 89/391/EEC on the introduction of measures to encourage
improvements in the safety and health of workers at work.
