5.3. CONNECTIONS
The accuracy of SOUND2 is highly dependent on the quality of the signal received from the
microphone. Use of shielding and the absence of power cables ensures the integrity of the
transmitted signal.
5.3.1. Power supply cable
5.3.1.1. Preparing the power cable
The power cable must be prepared in accordance with the following recommendations, particularly with
regard to the order in which the cables are connected.
It is prohibited to connect the power cable directly to the circuit board in the unit. The customer’s
power cable must be connected to the connector supplied by HASLER Group. The connector on the
unit must not be unscrewed/removed.
Failure to comply with this instruction will absolve HASLER Group of all liability and the equipment
will no longer be covered by the warranty.
The power cable is a connector that cannot be removed. It is a permanent connection.
Disable the switching device before disconnecting the equipment to avoid electric shocks.
The power supply is connected directly to the AC/DC converter.
Check the reference number on the electronic unit. The number must be 2520.1000.
Power is routed via a round connector.
