2. Check that 230 V is displayed.
3. Leave the left-hand terminal inserted, then place the right-hand terminal on the earth socket.
4. Check that the result is close to 0 V.
5. Insert the right-hand terminal back into the socket, then insert the left-hand terminal into the earth socket.
6. Check that the result is close to 230 V.
In this case, the socket or power supply system is correctly earthed.
7. Connect your power cable to the socket or power system.
8. Repeat steps 1 to 6 on the 3 wires of the cable and make sure you obtain the same values.
In this case, your power cable can be used.
