In this mode, only the protective programmes are active. There is still
electrical voltage in the system.
MANUAL OPERATION
This mode is used for checking all electrical functions and for
manually operating the drives.
Using the Up and Down buttons, you can switch to another display
window. All functions are switched on or off with the Plus or Minus
buttons.
CHIMNEY SWEEP TEST
In this mode, the boiler is brought up to its nominal thermal power.
Working together with the HDG Hydronic heating control, the loads
are activated.
6.2 Switching the heating system on
REQUIREMENTS
Before the heating system is turned on, the following conditions
must be met.
• The heating system has been commissioned by authorised
specialists.
• The fuse on the power supply is switched on.
• The mains switch on the heating system is turned off.
• No operating mode is displayed on the control unit of the HDG
Pelletronic.
• The pellet bunker has been filled.

PROCEDURE
1. Turn on the heating system mains switch.
✓ The indicator light in the mains switch will illuminate.
✓ The control is activated.
✓ After a start-up phase, the display will first of all show a switch-on
message and then show the standard display of i-01.
✓ The heating system is now switched on.
✓ The HDG Pelletronic will continue to work in the mode that it was
in before the heating system was switched off.
