7.1 IV Pole—P1445
Tools required: None
The two-sectioned, telescopic IV pole fits into any of the four socket locations
on the bed: two at the head end, and two at the foot end.
Installation
WARNING:
Failure to install the IV pole correctly could allow it to fall, resulting in
personal injury or equipment damage.
Put the IV pole (A) into the socket (B). Turn the lower section of the IV pole
clockwise to lock it in place (see figure 7-1 on page 7-2).

Removal
To remove the IV pole (A), turn it counterclockwise, and lift it from the socket
(B).
