Recovering the path from the secondary to external system (pair
status: PAIR)
The following figure shows the failure area and recovery when the pair
suspends due to path failure from the secondary system to the external
system.
When pair status is PAIR and the pair suspends due to a failure of the
external storage system or of a path to an external system, the P-VOL I/O
mode is Local, and the server continues I/O to the P-VOL.
