Connection using switches
With a switch connection, up to three optical fiber cables can be connected. A
maximum of two switches can be used.
Specify the topology as follows:
• NL_port: Fabric ON and FC-AL
• N_port: Fabric ON and Point-to-Point
Switches from some vendors (for example, McData ED5000) require F_port.
