4.1 Basic Overview
This section describes some of the concepts related to the Basic screens.
4.1.1 WAN and LAN
A Local Area Network (LAN) is a network of computers and other devices that usually
occupies a small physical area (a single building, for example). Your CGNV’s LAN
consists of all the computers and other networking devices connected to the ETH 1~4
ports. This is your private network (in routing mode - see
Routing Mode on page 38).
