5) Tighten the 5 mm hex nut on the throttle rod until the
threads of the throttle rod is in the dimension shown.
6) Install the linkage pivot on the throttle rod so that the
distance between the linkage pivot hole and the throttle rod
hole is in the dimension shown, and tighten the 5 mm hex
nut securely.
• After installation, check that the hole in the linkage pivot
is in the direction shown.
7) Apply marine grease to the throttle rod installation part of
the throttle cam.
Install the throttle rod on the throttle cam.
8) Install the throttle arm bracket assembly (P. 17-8).
