17) Turn the alternator rotor further counterclockwise until the
pulser rotor turns by three ridges of the gear teeth.
18) Tighten the 10 x 38 mm flange bolt on the timing belt
tensioner to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 45 N

• The timing belt tensioner is automatically adjusted. Do
not push the tensioner toward the belt by hand.
19) Perform timing belt tension adjustment (P. 3-24).
20) Install the following parts.
- Timing belt tensioner cap, engine hanger (P. 7-21)
- Electric part cover (P. 18-19)
- Alternator cover (P. 7-2)
- Engine cover (P. 4-2)
