8. Do not force the SIM into the slot. The SIM slot is not a “spring lock” holder. When
the SIM card is fully inserted, it will trip the SIM detect switch as indicated by the
arrow below. The access panel has a tab that holds the SIM card in place.
9. Reattach the access panel, torquing the screws to 4-5 inch pounds.
10. If the SIM card is not detected, contact Technical Assistance for troubleshooting.
11. If removed, reinstall the Thor VM1 in the dock.
12. Restart the Thor VM1.
