2. The necessary DCOM permission settings are listed below. In many cases it is necessary to
add new objects. (a.k.a. Group or user names)
3. In some cases, Windows XP requires that custom permissions be used instead of the
equivalent default permissions.
4. Select the program in the Component Services window and right-click to select Properties.
5. Click to select Customize then click Edit as shown on the following page.
