• Some user attributes (for example, the username attribute) configured on the NAS are not consistent
with those configured on the server.
• No user search base DN is specified for the LDAP scheme.
Solution
Check that:
• The NAS and the LDAP server can ping each other.
• The IP address and port number of the LDAP server configured on the NAS match those of the
server.
• The username is in the correct format and the ISP domain for the user authentication is correctly
configured on the NAS.
• The user is configured on the LDAP server.
• The correct password is entered.
• The administrator DN and the administrator password are correctly configured.
• The user attributes (for example, the username attribute) configured on the NAS are consistent with
those configured on the LDAP server.
• The user search base DN for authentication is specified.
