c. Rear/front LFF drive removal
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
Access panel
WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow the drives and the
internal system components to cool before touching them.
To remove the component:
1. Power down the server (on page 17).
2. Remove the server from the rack (on page 27).
3. Use a screwdriver to loosen the access panel screws.
4. Slide the access panel toward the rear of the server, then lift it from the server.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
