Types of user account
There are two types of user account that are set up automatically when the system is installed:
Administrator: This account allows authorized users to create and edit management and
StoreOnce functions via the Web Management Console and CLI. This account is created
during installation when you will be advised of the user name and a default password. The
password for the Admin user can be changed via the GUI/CLI and any password change
applies to both the GUI and CLI.
Operator: This account is available if the administrator wishes to provide limited access to the
GUI and CLI to certain users whose access will be restricted to monitoring and viewing. The
initial user name and login is Operator and operator, but the Admin user may change this
via the GUI or CLI.
NOTE: There is a third account reserved for HP Support to which the user does not have access.
However, it is important to know that the HP Support user can only gain access to this account via
the Admin login.
