Can be installed together with the 4 LFF drive cage option .
Supports SAS, SATA, and U.3 NVMe drives .

CAUTION:CAUTION: To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server unless all bays are populated
with either a component or a blank.
ProcedureProcedure
1. Remove the front bezel.
2. Power down the server.
3. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
4. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
5. Do one of the following:
If the server is in tower mode, place the server on a flat, level surface with the access panel facing up .
If the server is in rack mode, remove the server from the rack .
6. Remove the access panel .
7. Remove the fan cage.
8. Remove the drive box blank:
a. Remove the drive box blank screws (callout 1).
b. Remove the drive box blank (callout 2).
9. Install the 8 SFF drive cage:
a. Install the drive cage in the server (callout 1).
