Placing Optical Apparatus and bers
Do not touch pins or connecting ngers with bare hands. Handle the optical bers
gently. Use two ngers to hold the ber connector instead of grasping the ber or
the
ber cover.
Do not apply axial or lateral ber wallop bumps on the ber. Do not fold, twist, or
crush the tail ber. Do not drag the tail ber or press the coupling point of the tail
ber. Figure 3-37 shows how to properly place optical apparatus and bers.

NO TE
Install the ber in circles with diameter longer than 6 cm ( 0.20 ft ).
Uninstalling Optical Apparatus
● Open the buckle and slowly take out the optical apparatus. Do not drag the
optical
ber to forcibly take out the optical ber. Ensure that the optical ber
is connected to and removed from the interface horizontally.
