5.8 Checking the Installation

1 Cable routing Cables are routed properly according
to engineering requirements.
2 Cable connections Input power cables, output power
cables, and battery cables are
tightened to the specied torque using
a torque wrench, connected correctly,
and free of damage.
3 Cable connections for USB
ports and network ports
Cables to USB ports and network ports
are connected correctly and securely.
4 Labels Both ends of a cable are labeled.
Labels are concise and easy to
understand.
5 Ground cable connections The UPS ground cable is securely
connected to the ground bar in the
equipment room. Use a multimeter to
measure the resistance between the
UPS ground cable and the equipment
room ground bar. The resistance must
be less than 0.1 ohm.
