5.1.1 Site Planning
Floor Loading Capacity
Ensure that the oor can bear the weight of the UPS and its optional components.
Installation Environment
● Do not install the UPS in a hot, cold, or damp place that is beyond the
technical specications.
● Keep the UPS far away from water, heat sources, and ammable and
explosive substances. Install the UPS in an environment free of dust, volatile
gas, salt, and corrosive materials. Avoid direct sunlight.
● Do not install the UPS in environments with conductive metal scraps in the
air.
Clearances

Ensure that the distance between UPS air vents and a wall or obstacle is greater
than or equal to 500 mm.
Clearances should be reserved around the chassis to facilitate ventilation and
operations. Clearances of at least 500 mm should be reserved in front of and
behind the chassis.
